About me
Hello! My name is Brian Obot, a Software Engineer who studied and graduated from the University as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer.
My programming journey started in my second year at the University. I found the whole idea and process involved in making computers do your bidding as beautiful, powerful, and exciting. I started off with HTML/CSS and Java (sadly, we never really worked out), then I ran into Python, and ever since, I can't get myself to think of something more addictive. Apparently there was Rust
I am skilled and experienced in building efficient and easy-to-use software solutions, focusing on scripting, backend infrastructure, and REST APIs. I also work with Laravel for web applications, Rust for systems programming and Web applications, and Solana for blockchain development. I am a vocal activist for consistent hard work, learning, and grit. I am passionate about writing and contributing to open-source materials.
Recently, I have developed a strong interest in designing and engineering microservices-based web infrastructure. I 💙 the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Afang Soup, puzzles, riddles, and outer space.
